Sometimes you just want to see your design on top of the real thing. Pixelay does exactly that. Pick a frame, overlay it on a site, and adjust opacity to see how well the build matches. It’s indispensable when you have to QA dozens of components quickly.
Works on staging, QA, or production
Because the overlay runs in your browser, you can point it at any environment—even behind a login or on localhost. That makes Pixelay useful for agencies working across multiple clients and stacks.
Overlay workflow tip
- Organize your Figma file with frames named after the pages/routes they represent.
- In Pixelay, search for that frame name and overlay it instantly.
- Use keyboard shortcuts to cycle through states and capture what you need.
QA suddenly feels more like a checklist and less like a guessing game.
