There are still clients who insist on PDF deliverables. Crypto lets me export those PDFs directly from Figma and wrap them in password protection without juggling Acrobat settings.
Secure exports in one step
Choose the frames, run Crypto’s PDF export, and set the password, expiration, and watermarking preferences. The plugin encrypts the file and delivers a download link you can monitor.
Better than emailing attachments
Recipients download through a secure link, not a random email attachment. If you need to revoke access or update the PDF, just toggle the link in Crypto and send the new version.
Workflow reminder
- Assemble the pages you want to export in Figma.
- Use Crypto to generate the password-protected PDF and link.
- Share the link and track downloads from the dashboard.
It’s a small tweak that makes compliance folks breathe easier.
Track versions
Label each PDF export with a revision number in Crypto so stakeholders always download the right file. If someone references an older version, you can verify exactly which one they opened and when.
Combine with approvals
Ask stakeholders to acknowledge receipt or sign off within the Crypto portal before accessing the PDF. That gives you an audit trail tying approvals directly to the secure file, which is useful for regulated projects.
