Common questions
What to know before you start.
When should I choose Pitchdeck instead of Keynote?
Design teams creating branded slides in Figma and delivering editable files for recipients who use Keynote.
When is Keynote a better fit?
Apple-focused teams who prefer Keynote’s native authoring and presentation features.
What should I check before switching?
Keynote is an existing Pitchdeck delivery destination, so it can remain part of the workflow. Check fonts and editable objects after import; browser presentation animations and embeds do not automatically survive an editable slide export.
Will every Pitchdeck animation appear in the Keynote handoff?
Do not assume so. Editable presentation export and the Pitchdeck browser presentation are different outputs. Inspect the delivered deck in Keynote and recreate destination-specific animation where the brief requires it.
